Tribal Council is the Supreme Governing Body
of the Comanche Nation
It is of great concern that many tribal members go without the basic human needs such as food, shelter, health care and jobs. Little children and the elderly are being neglected, abandoned and abused.
We are seeing evidence of prosperity through gaming operations yet many Tribal member go without food and shelter. We depend on the revenue from our gaming to lift us up and give us hope for a better day.
As a People we must make changes to insure for the BASIC HUMAN needs of ALL tribal members or we will fail to prosper.
We are Comanche unique in our own ways and we have the right to determine our own path.
Under the Constitution of the Comanche Nation, in a duly called meeting with a quorum present the Tribal Council is the Supreme Governing body.
A Tribal Council meeting will be held in April 2011.
